Owens & Minor University consists of six individual "colleges" representing the learning goals of the organization. To ensure collaboration within the university system, each college is represented by a Dean and an Advisory Board, who will work with the learning and development team to assess the educational needs for each college and develop appropriate content to meet those needs.
The Advisory Boards are the governing body of the university and serve to represent the Owens & Minor student body. Additionally, the Advisory Board recruits subject matter experts within the company to act in the capacity of faculty. The faculty support the learning process by incorporating their own experiences in the facilitation of educational programs.
