At Owens & Minor, we believe in the potential of each teammate.  Owens & Minor University is dedicated to developing this potential in our teammates.  As the foundation of our transition into a "learning organization", Owens & Minor University provides educational opportunities to make learning both inclusive and accessible.

Owens & Minor University is structured much like a conventional university, with a variety of classes available through six different "colleges."  Curricula will be available for all positions in the company. Whether you are a sales teammate or a warehouse teammate, you can find courses to help you develop the skills you need to pursue your individual career path.

Regardless of your location, schedule, or learning objectives, our goal is to provide classes in Owens & Minor University's course catalog that meet your needs.  To maximize teammate accessibility to learning opportunities, classes are offered through a variety of delivery methods.   

• Instructor-led courses, developed and facilitated by Owens & Minor University-qualified instructors, are available at the Home Office Campus or on-site at the distribution center through a  field facilitator.

• Web-based learning modules are offered through our Owens & Minor University Online course catalog.  These self-paced courses are available 24-hours a day via the web and contain skill checks and other training materials to measure your progress.

• Remote learning technologies, such as web-conferencing and video-conferencing, allow teammates in different locations to participate in interactive, instructor-led training sessions without leaving their distribution centers.

We have invested in a Learning Management System (LMS) to help make Owens & Minor University accessible to all teammates.  Our LMS is part of the Owens & Minor University Online Learning Center.  Teammates can log into Owens & Minor University Online to browse the course catalog (all Owens & Minor University courses, whether instructor-led or online, are cataloged in the LMS), register for a class, and review their student transcripts.
