Hugh initiated and spearheads the company's quality movement to promote teamwork and excellence in customer service. He shares his quality message with Owens & Minor's trading partners and with business, educational and government groups nationwide. Hugh founded Owens & Minor's Corporate Communications Team, which produces the company's internal publications, communicates with shareholders and handles public and media relations.
