SurgiTrack: The Power of Analytics

From that document, a surgeon scorecard is created, comparing surgeons performing the same procedure against each other on products used and costs. Armed with this information, hospitals can identify where the commonalities and differences of products used are and then use that data to consolidate and standardize products by procedure, resulting in a lower cost per case for the procedure.
