Owens & Minor and the Healthcare Supplier Diversity Alliance (HSDA) announced the winners of the 2024 Supplier Diversity Awards, which honor the legacy of Earl G. Reubel, co-founder of Kerma Medical Products Inc., a family and veteran-minority owned company and supplier. The awards recognize the individuals and organizations that are actively making an impact in advancing and championing greater diversity in the healthcare supply chain. This year’s award recipients were recognized during the Supplier Diversity Summit hosted by HIDA and HSDA at HIDA’s Streaming Healthcare Conference held in Dallas Texas on September 10, 2024.
Winners were chosen across three categories:

Today, they supply nearly 200 million products to healthcare facilities annually. Their mission is to ensure families, friends, coworkers, and communities have access to high-quality healthcare products now and in the future. The company is deeply committed to community service, providing each employee with eight volunteer PTO days to support local organizations to better the communities where they work and live. In 2022, they launched a new Supplier Diversity Program, benchmarking best practices from other Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) to guide their efforts. They’ve dedicated their workforce and financial resources to ensure the sustainability of their diverse and inclusive supplier initiative. The organization continues to increase its diverse spending each year.
